An individual’s basic nature or natural way of being is called temperament. The child’s behavior can be well understood if a teacher learns about temperament. Much consideration is given to the roles of language and intellectual ability in the school success of the child. Less attention is given to the role of temperament. It has been observed by researchers and teachers that the temperament of children influences their reactions to the environment of the school and their communication with others.
